High quality PETG filament for perfect results
For a clean print, not only the 3D printer, but also the filament is crucial. If you use high-quality material, you will have significantly fewer problems such as stringing (pressure pulls threads), warping (deformation of the material) or clogging of the nozzle.
We are committed to developing quality filaments that enable easy printing - for a pleasant printing experience and perfect results. This is how 3D printing is fun!
Our high-quality PETG filament impresses with the following properties:
✓ Good (bed) adhesion
Our PETG filament ensures good adhesion both on the print bed and between layers, resulting in a solid print result.
✓ Print results without threads
With our PETG filament, a clean print is possible without the stringing that can result when molten filament exits the moving extruder nozzle.
✓ Clean winding
We guarantee a clean winding of the filament so that your printer's nozzle does not clog or the filament strands do not break.
✓ Pure colors
Intense colors that don't run - you can only expect that from high-quality filament. Our PETG filament promises a beautiful, pure color that looks exactly the same when printed as it does on the spool.
✓ Vacuum sealed
Since filament quickly becomes porous in air, our spools are immediately vacuum-packed after manufacture to retain moisture.
PETG: Features and Benefits
PETG consists of glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate (PET for short). The addition of glycol improves the properties of the plastic: it is less porous, requires a lower printing temperature and has a lower viscosity, making it easier to print.
Good printing properties
PETG has a low viscosity, so it is less viscous, which makes the printing process easier and faster. In addition, the material does not deform when it cools down and is therefore hardly prone to warping.
Resilient and durable
PETG is characterized by high breaking strength and rigidity. Accordingly, the material is very resistant - objects made of PETG are not so easily destroyed.
Heat and weather resistant
PETG retains its shape up to a temperature of 80-90 degrees Celsius, which is why it can also be used in more thermally intensive conditions (e.g. as part of electrical devices that heat up). And the material is also robust when it comes to moisture, sunlight and chemicals.
food safe
PET is the most commonly used plastic in the world and is used as packaging for most food - and PETG can also be brought into contact with food without any problems.
Glossy & transparent
The PETG filament is also available in the glossy & transparent version, which expands the possible uses.
What is PETG good for?
Due to its resilience, PETG is suitable for a variety of applications, including outdoor areas. Compared to PLA, higher temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius are not a problem for the material. Since it is also food-safe, it is very often used in the food and kitchen appliance sectors. Disadvantage: PETG is more susceptible to scratches compared to other filaments.
